      <image:title>Projects - Letters to a Founder</image:title>
<image:caption>In 2016, my company decided to produce a limited run of books devoted to helping founders through critical decision points. You can read more about the project here. For our initial run of 300 books meant for the entrepreneurs and advisors we work with, I was tasked with formatting and designing the final product. This project ultimately led to Dear Founder, which came out in 2018.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Bat Box</image:title>
<image:caption>In 2017, I visited the Messel Pit in Germany, and wanted to make a replica of a backlit bat fossil I’d seen there.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - iMac Aquarium</image:title>
<image:caption>On a trip to Goodwill to get rid of stuff, I saw a 1st-gen iMac aquarium tucked in a corner, and knew immediately I’d be coming back with more than what I gave away. A few years back I’d seen a kit available from Jake Harms (link), and had only been missing the iMac component.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Very non-HOA compliant door opening device</image:title>
<image:caption>When I lived at my previous apartment, I had a problem with receiving packages. This would have been frowned upon by my landlord, but I used a combination of LittleBits (Arduino unit, 2 servo motors, and a light sensor), rubber bands, tape, Sugro, and Instamorph to build a system that opened the door for anyone who buzzed my unit.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Super Tree Bros</image:title>
<image:caption>In 2012, I read online about people who make sprite modifications of old video games, and wanted to see if I could do the same for Super Mario Bros. I would need a source that would have lots of characters and in-jokes, and so I landed on making a Stanford Band-related version of the game. Mario would become the Tree, coins would become donuts, and Bowser became this horrifying version of Oski.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Union Iron Works Replica Sign</image:title>
<image:caption>As a proud resident of Dogpatch, I wanted to create a replica of the sign outside of Union Iron Works, the iron shop that truly built and transformed this neighborhood at the dawn of the 20th century.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Replacement door number</image:title>
<image:caption>When I moved into my apartment, all the units in my building had door numbers that were made of ceramic. They were fine, but I wanted a door sign that would 1) fit over my door tile non-destructively, and 2) feel a little more specific to me.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects</image:title>
<image:caption>For Halloween 2017, I decorated my apartment in a mad science theme. For it, I created four versions of my dog Chewie. Pictured here is Chewie IV, a fetus in what used to be my jellyfish tank.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Shipping Crane Table</image:title>
<image:caption>Because I live in Dogpatch, there are several shipping cranes within sight at Pier 70, the site of Union Iron Works. In honor of a couple of the more famous ones at what will become Crane Cove Park, I wanted to make a side table inspired by them.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Bookshelves</image:title>
<image:caption>After moving to my new apartment, I wanted to build a set of bookshelves to match my desk, which became very critical as my apartment came with essentially no storage. Accordingly, I used African Mahogany and metal pipes that I painted black.</image:caption>

<image:caption>My grandmother, Helen Webb, was a science educator who for several years ran the Jupiter Inlet Marine Science Center out of a former military barracks in Jupiter, Florida. She passed away before I was born, but in 2019 my aunt Christine shared with me this booklet she had saved.</image:caption>
